This is a song written to honor the healthcare and other frontline workers, who are risking their lives to serve the world during the COVID-19 pandemic. The song is performed by Melanie Nga My, who knows firsthand the experience of working on the frontline, for she is also a certified nurse practitioner, at Cleveland clinic in Ohio.

Lyrics/ English Translation

I have seen a gentle mom, in the dark sad night, with her lonely footsteps
standing by the front porch, looking at her son with love in her eyes
Then silently, she returns to the danger zone, because of the pandemic, to save so many lives
Faced with many difficulties and risks, she continues her sacrifices. Who is she?
That mother, the nurse, the doctor, the healthcare workers
they are all selflessly on the frontline, to help humanity
Even if it means death, they'll accept it.

I have seen many hospitals filled with tears and prayers
As your body lies there, my heart breaks
I have seen the whole planet lit up in candlelights, with prayers whispered up into the Heavens
walking up the steps in the dark, rain falling like tears
The police, the soldiers, the firefighters, all on the frontline
they selflessly work to save humanity
Even when faced with death, they accept it.

Let us have a word, we want to thank you endlessly from our hearts
Please let me have a thousand words of thanks, to the medical workers, the clergy
who are helping a world in danger, healing our pain
while Death is raging
All the kind, compassionate hearts
Oh noble, beautiful souls
that carries with them a love for heaven and earth
Please let me say thank you
please let all of us give our thanks, and the whole world with millions of words
to express our gratitude
thank you
